COMTO Jacksonville was founded in April 2000.
The Jacksonville chapter is the 23rd chapter inducted into the COMTO family.
In its tenth year of service, we have more than 50 active members representing various transportation agencies such as Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA), Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA), Reynolds, Smith & Hills (RS&H), Greyhound, and more.
We will continue our vision of educating and providing the community with programs and information relating to transportation initiatives.
Communicating the changing face of transportation is a COMTO Jacksonville objective.
Fast Facts:
Jacksonville International Airport (JIA) is 15 minutes from downtown by car. It is served by 15 major and regional airlines that offer 250 daily flights to and from most major cities in the country and is an international gateway.

Not only is JTA responsible for the mass transit of Jacksonville, it designs and constructs bridges, highways, and multiple intersections to better the mobilization of Jacksonville citizens.
